Handley Farm offers luxurious quality self catering cottages set in a beautiful rural location 35 minutes from Taunton, Somerset. You are ideally placed to enjoy the natural delights of Exmoor, the rugged North Devon coastline and the countryside of Devon and Somerset.

The Old Stables: This converted stable block is beautifully furnished and comes with a gravelled courtyard with seating. The lovely open plan kitchen and dining area come with a vaulted ceiling and Velux windows. The living area comes with a contemporary sofa, log burner, TV and DVD player.

A bedroom is lavishly furnished and comes with a king size bed, free standing roll top double ended bath and en suite bathroom with a large shower. We can provide a cot or single bed on request.

The Cider Barn: The Cider Barn is an extremely spacious self catering cottage sleeping, 6 people. There is a beautiful open plan kitchen with wonderful far reaching views of the Somerset countryside. The tastefully furnished sitting room features exposed beams and a log burner.

Two bedrooms are on the ground floor of the holiday cottage– one with a 4 poster double bed and one king size bedroom plus WC and wash basin. A twin room is the only upstairs room. The stylish modern bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath, separate shower, washbasin & WC. For your complete freedom and relaxation, the cottage has a private garden with a south facing patio, garden furniture and an 8 seater Hot Tub.

The Dairy: This charming cottage sleeps 4 in a king en suite and super king/twin en suite room. A wonderful open plan kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm and offers stunning views over the countryside. Unwind in the cosy sitting which has exposed beams, large windows and a log burner. Outside there is a decking with a hot tub to soak your troubles away. The decking area can also be accessed from the lounge and bedrooms.

Our self catering cottages are superbly equipped with log burners for those chilly evenings (free logs), central heating, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine.

Beds are made up for you on arrival and a cot, high chair and stair gate are available.

These pet friendly cottages are set in 40 acres of beautiful farmland, woods and ponds. There is also an abundance of natural wildlife to observe. On the farm, we have horses, sheep, chickens, ducks and goats.

It is only a short drive (10 minutes) from Bampton or Wiveliscombe, which have good shopping facilities (open till late), Post Office, Garage, etc. Taunton, the county town is approx 35 minutes drive and there is a bus route passing the entrance to Handley Farm.
