The Helyar Arms is a pet friendly Grade II listed 15th Century inn situated in the pretty village of East Coker, near Yeovil in Somerset.

We are real foodies here at The Helyar Arms and because of that our menu changes according to the local produce available from neighbouring farmers and suppliers. We offer both the pub classics that you might expect, as well as fine dining dishes for that special evening out.

We have six comfortable and homely rooms at The Helyar Arms. All the rooms have en suite shower rooms, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TVs and free Wi-Fi.

Breakfast is complimentary for all our guests who can choose from our delightful cooked breakfast menu.

East Coker is a large village made up of several hamlets, dating back to Norman times rich in fine architecture and mellow stone thatch cottages. Standing on a hill overlooking the village is the church of St Michael, which was believed to have been built by Hugh de Courteney in 1276, who owned Coker Court. Coker Court is an historic building with its noble hall complete with minstrel gallery and magnificent Jacobean fireplace.
