Halse Farm Caravan & Camping Park in Winsford, Somerset, offers stunning campsite in a glorious location. Situated in a tranquil and relaxing park, we truly are the ultimate holiday home.

We are surrounded by beautiful scenery and are adjacent to the moor on a working farm. There is an abundance of wildlife including Exmoor ponies which live wild on Winsford Hill, free roaming red deer and soaring buzzards. We are in a unique position with spectacular views - a haven for those who enjoy the peace and quiet of the real countryside. We are ideally situated for moorland, woodland and riverside walks and for spotting an abundance of wildlife and birdlife.

From your caravan or tent you may see the wild Exmoor ponies, red and roe deer, buzzards and red kites as well as hares and hedgehogs.

We freeze ice blocks at the farmhouse.

Children are welcome. We have a play area and nappy changing facilities.

Dogs are welcome provided they are kept under strict control, do not foul the park and are not left unattended. There are acres of moorland outside our front gate for exercising and toileting dogs. We do ask that if your dog does foul the campsite you clear up after it and dispose of the bags. Please do not leave bags on the site or on the moor.

Exmoor is a paradise for walkers and nature lovers: walk out of our front gate onto Winsford Hill for miles of marked walks on moorland, in woodland or beside the rivers, all with a good chance of spotting local flora and fauna. We can supply laminated maps of the local area with six circular walks starting and finishing on the campsite with lengths varying from 2 miles to 12 miles. We are an ideal base for walks further afield too. Dunkery Beacon, Exmoor’s highest point is not far away and there is the coastal footpath to the north.
