Our magnificent Grade II Listed property offers everything you need for an idyllic getaway. All the rooms are lavishly furnished and come with an array of facilities to suit all your needs: an HD smart TV, DAB clock radio alarm, USB charging station and hospitality tray.

The Embercombe Room: Our fabulous room has a private bathroom and boasts glorious views over the vale and garden.

The Danesbrook Room: This charming room can be interlinked with Embercome and offers breathtaking views of the moor and sea.

The Heddon Master: This elegant room has and an en suite bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower. The room offers majestic moor and sea views.

The Greenaleigh Suite: This gorgeous room sleeps 2 adults and 2 children in a king-size bed and 2 single sofas bed in a private lounge. The room offers amazing moor and coastal views.

The Ivystone Room: Our stunning room has a large private bathroom with a shower over the opulent roll-top bath. The room enjoys far-reaching views over the woodland and moorland.

The Jennifrieds Room: Our fantastic room includes an en suite bathroom with a shower and enjoys views over the courtyard and woodland.

Onsite we have a variety of high-quality facilities to enjoy, including the oldest Squash court in England, a children’s play area, tennis court and 8 acres of informal gardens. There’s also an honesty bar with a great selection of local spirits, ciders and ale,

Based deep in Exmoor, the picturesque village of Porlock is brimming with art galleries, interesting shops, pubs, tea rooms and beautiful cottages. The Doverhay Museum is great for history fans looking to learn about the village’s history, whilst the Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre provides you with the rare opportunity to fly an owl to your gloved hand.
