Wingfield is a small village in the Waveney Valley on the borders of Suffolk and Norfolk, although only small in size and quiet in nature there is an amazing amount of history linked to it. In Tudor times Wingfield was thought to be one of the richest villages in Suffolk, due to the wool trade.
