Watsons Farm is a 17th Century timber-framed cottage which offers self catering accommodation in the village of Fressingfield. Our pet friendly holiday cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Suffolk Heritage coast, RSPB reserve at Minsmere and the Suffolk Coastal Nature Reserve, which all have wonderful walks.

Our self catering accommodation has an open plan kitchen/dining room which is fully fitted with an electric oven and microwave and overlooks the kitchen garden on one side and the pond on the other. The bathroom comes with a shower and is on the ground floor. There are steep narrow stairs to the first floor where there is one twin and one double bedroom.

The sitting room has an extensive library of books as well as a DVD player, Freeview, CD player and Hi-Fi. Alternatively you can warm your toes in front of the log burner, relax & read a book. The lawned garden is south facing with a hedge one two sides and a pond on the other. There is garden furniture and a barbecue. There is ample parking

Course fishing at £5 a day is available all year round.

Southwold is a delightful, old fashioned seaside town with beach huts, a lighthouse, bookshops, and an award-winning pier. At the harbour, there are a number of places to buy freshly caught fish. Walberswick, on the other side of the estuary, is a charming seaside village with dunes and a large sandy beach. Dunwich has a shingle beach and a very good fish and chip restaurant.

There is an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants in the area serving locally sourced produce. Outstanding amongst these is the Fox and Goose Restaurant in Fressingfield itself.
