This cosy thatched cottage has been a family home for almost 100 years and now offers quality accommodation. The cottage still has original walls to complement the modern facilities, ideal for the ultimate getaway.

Our lovely cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with a relaxing living room that has Sky Q TV with access to your favourite apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime, comfy seating and a feature window that offers spectacular views over the island towards The Monach Isles and the Atlantic Ocean. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has an oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Additional small electrical appliances include a kettle, coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, George Foreman grill and toastie maker. Throughout the cottage there is superfast fibre broadband, suitable for posting on social media or running a Zoom meeting. There is good 4G coverage for mobiles and several USB sockets for charging devices.

Two attractive bedrooms are available: a double en suite and a twin room. All the rooms include a TV, bedding and towels. The modern en suite bathroom is newly fitted and includes a shower and heated towel rails. A separate bathroom has a bath.

Outside there is a large, fenced garden which is a great spot for a morning coffee whilst admiring your surroundings. There is also private parking right outside the door.

North Uist is a haven for outdoor lovers, with an abundance of gorgeous scenery to enjoy. The island has a range of beautiful beaches and wonderful lochs to see. You can take a ferry at Lochmaddy and there are several prehistoric sites in the area. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
