Rescue Centre Rehoming & Charities

National Animal Welfare Trust

Watford, Hertfordshire

National Animal Welfare Trust is one of Britainís best animal welfare charities and has six rehoming centres across the south of England. Our centres in Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Cornwall, Essex, Hertfordshire and Somerset provide safety and rehabilitation for a range of animals. Come and visit, youíll be greeted with the warmest welcome.

Our centres rescue and rehome over 1,200 homeless pets every year. While they are staying with us, we do everything possible to help them through a tough period of their lives and prepare them for a loving new home. We provide the animals with training, enrichment and rehabilitative care. Our centres never stop giving them the love and care they need.

We have a variety of animals to rehome, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and field animals. The process of rescuing a pet is a rewarding experience and five steps are required in the rehoming process:

Visit your call rescue centre to find the right pet for you.
Tell us about your home and lifestyle.
Make regular visits to the rehoming centres.
Allow us to visit your home to chat more about life with a rescue pet.
Take your new pet home after signing a contract, making a payment and the necessary paperwork.
