The Stables and Nutmeg's both have two bedrooms and are ideal accommodation for four people. Skyber is a cosy one bedroom cottage ideal for two.
The doorway to this two story cottage is extra wide as it used to accommodate three large working horses of yesteryear. Old Pear Tree Barn, Trebisken, Newquay, Cornwall
Old Pear Tree Barn is a charming cottage, nestled in the beautiful Cornish countryside at Trebisken. Trebisken is a lovely hamlet, just a short drive from the golden beach at Holywell Bay and the popular surfing town of Newquay.
The barn has been restored to the highest of standards and offers comfortable and luxurious accommodation for up to 4 people. For most of its life, the barn was an integral part of a working farm. The farm was entirely self-sufficient and only had mains water & electric available in the early seventies.
When renovating the barn, we wanted to ensure we kept as much of its original features, charm and character, whilst providing a place with modern amenities. We have carefully considered everything that was put in the house to ensure we had a good balance of both old and new. We installed underfloor heating throughout and masses of insulation and so we mana…

House Boat Hotels - Ruby and Lily May, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Maggie and Terry Hall launched Houseboat Hotels in 1999. At that time (and maybe still today in 2008) it was a unique idea, the first people to offer city centre apartment style accommodation, aboard a houseboat in the country. They had themselves lived aboard a houseboat for over two years and in a moment of either madness or inspiration purchased a rather sad looking Ruby, gave her a major facelift and started an unconventional and original business. Lily May changed from home to hotel in 2000. People seem to love it. In 2003 Waterscape.com awarded them Best Waterside Hotel and Most Innovative Waterside Business. In September 2005 they were voted Sheffield Tourism Ambassadors by Sheffield Hospitality. An award they were proud to be nominated for again in 2007. Terry and Maggie have now 'handed the tiller' over to their friends Kathryn and Karl who will continue to welcome guests both o…
