Our Self Catering lodges have been beautifully converted from our farm outbuildings – so not only do they have plenty of character but also offer comfortable and flexible accommodation from sole occupancy to large groups – please just call us to discuss your requirements.
All lodges have cooking facilities, fridge and cooking equipment – and towels and bed linen are provided. You can be as self-sufficient as you like, but you are more than welcome at any time to let us do the cooking (and washing up!) for you – and come and join us in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner – or just to relax in our cozy lounge whilst enjoying an afternoon cream tea or cup of freshly ground coffee (or even a pint of local ale)!

Sawmill Cottage provides pet friendly, self catering accommodation located on the outskirts of Portpatrick. This pretty village provides easy access for visiting Stranraer. The holiday cottage is a great place for couples to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful break.
The accommodation is all on the ground level. There is one twin bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room includes a wood burner.
Outside is a large garden and access to the woods which are great for walks with the dog.

It occupies an ideal location adjacent to Tunstall Forest, which is a haven for dog walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and equestrians alike. Sudbourne Village itself is tucked away between Orford and Snape on the edge of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, with easy access for Aldeburgh and Woodbridge.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner, as are your horse or pony. A riding or trekking holiday in the Winter, Spring & Autumn is wonderful here, as the going in the forest and country tracks is sand based with little or no mud.
