Ashe Farm is a quiet informal family-run caravan and camping site part of a working farm situated near Taunton in Somerset between the Quantock and Blackdown Hills.

The six acre site has two sheltered meadows with lovely views of the hills and an atmosphere of peace and seclusion. Towing approach from the M5 motorway is straightforward and the site is easy to find at the end of your journey. There are electric hook-ups in both fields. The first field has a number of hard standings and a fully equipped toilet / shower block with disabled facilities and a laundry.

Attractions

Ashe Farm provides a great site for children to get close to nature with plenty of space for games and lovely walks around the farm and local woods.

The historic Taunton town is three miles from the farm. It has a good shopping centre with major supermarkets and department stores, ten-pin bowling, golf courses, the Brewhouse Theatre, Odeon Cinema and swimming and sports facilities. It's also home to Somerset County Cricket Club and the Racecourse.

To the north are the Quantocks. Bishops Lydeard, a village just North West of Taunton is the starting point for the West Somerset Railway, which runs regular steam services through the beautiful Quantock country side and along the coast to Minehead.

To the East is the Somerset Levels with access to the Willow and Wetlands Centre and cheap shopping at Clarkes Village factory outlet, Street. In the Mendip hills you have Cheddar Caves & Gorge and Wookey Hole, a great day out for when it's wet.

Other attractions within easy travelling distance include Sheppy’s CiderCricket St ThomasDiggerland at Cullompton, Crealy Park, near Exeter and  of course the beaches...Woolacombe, Exmouth, Minehead, Bream Sands & Lyme Bay.
