Welcome to Oskamull

Situated on the Southwest facing, Northwest corner of the Island of Mull, Oskamull was one of the bigger farms on the Island back in the 18th century.

The house has been a cherished home in the same ownership for nearly 50 years and has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment with up to date facilities, including WiFi, satellite television, a lovely Aga kitchen, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, sitting room and a cosy snug.

There is a snug with a wood burning stove and an excellent utility room with clothes airer and washing machine.

  • What a great find

    5 of us plus dog had an amazing week at this cottage. We were so lucky to find it. It's beautifully equipped and full of character. Not smart but comfortable and homely, which is just what I love. There is a fantastic view of Loch na Keal (though, unless it's there to protect against winds, I would definitley reduce the hedge height). The garden was secure for the dog, even though there were sheep in the surrounding fields. We could hear curlews on the shore - a wonderful sound to wake up to.....

  • Great holiday!

    Oskamull farmhouse is a lovely holiday home. It is large and has all that you need. The range in the kitchen made it warm and cosy at all times. The bed we used was comfortable with an amazing view! The furniture was quite old but in keeping with the farmhouse. It is perfectly located for Turus Mara trips to the Trennish isles and also for the ferry over to the Isle of Ulva (both of which are 'must do') - just a fifteen minute walk to Ulva ferry.....

    Well equiped and looked after house and though the peat tinted water takes a little getting used to it is wonderfully soft! Love the snug with the wood buring stove. A very happy holiday and we look forward to returning soon.

  • Regular Visitors

    We have stayed at Oskamull a number of times over the past 20 years and love the property and the island. The house is well located with wonderful views.

    Eas Foss waterfall is nearby and lots of other walks and excusions. The house is warm and cosy in winter which is when we usually visit.

    My two boys (in their 20s) love the island as well. They both enjoy getting away from the city and just relaxing, taking photos and getting lots of fresh air. They are not great walkers....
