A beautiful Georgian country house in the heart of Perthshire. Our home, with its 6 public rooms and 8 en-suite bedrooms, is fully equipped to comfortably cater for up to 20 guests. Outside, our gardens have been landscaped to be versatile – whether you want space for fun or relaxation.
Dunfallandy House is a place for people to come and relax in the Perthshire countryside. Guests can enjoy private access to our house gardens or sit and enjoy a drink by the open fire in our bar lounge. Our house bar is stocked with one of the largest whisky collections in the Pitlochry area, offering the chance to try rare and limited-edition drams, there is also a separate poker snug for anyone wanting to play games. Breakfast is served in the main dining room, and in the evenings pizzas and platters are available in the bar area, as well as homemade Scottish desserts.
For those who wish, we have the Fergusson Lounge, a room hosting a grand piano, comfortable seating and a projector screen. Guests can sit and read during the day from our house book selection or watch a movie in the evening. Pitlochry town is a 2 minute drive from the house, or a 20 minute walk along the beautiful river Tummel.
Dunfallandy House has 8 guest bedrooms all with en-suite showers, each one individually decorated in honour of certain Scottish Clans belonging to those who have helped us through the transition back to being a hotel. The rooms are front and rear facing showing the house gardens, and each come with tea and coffee facilities and complimentary toiletries. We do not have televisions in the guest rooms, instead each room has an Amazon tablet, pre-loaded with all the local television apps, giving people the chance to watch catch up TV if required. Likewise, movies are available on the large projector in the Fergusson Lounge.
Pitlochry Town has great restaurants, bars and shops to keep visitors to the area entertained regardless of length of stay. Pitlochry Highland Nights give visitors to Pitlochry the opportunity to experience proper Scottish music and dance, Heathergems make beautiful Scottish jewellery and are well worth a visit.

For the adults visiting Pitlochry, Blair Athol distillery is a mere 10-minute walk from the house, they offer tours of the distillery, an extensive distillery shop and one of the most unique whisky bars, ‘the mash tun’. If one distillery visit isn’t enough for you, a short 20-minute drive away is the picturesque town of Aberfeldy, where you will find Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery.
