We can help make your stay even more special and relaxing by taking care of some of the little extras. We can stock your fridge provide sharing platters or private chef service. We can decorate your cottage to surprise loved ones for those special celebrations and even book a massage therapist to visit the cottage to really let you switch off and unwind.

Little Adventures
If your looking for adventure or a relaxing break away the Vulcan Lodge is the perfect base for your little or big adventures.
If your looking for dramatic scenery or something a bit more adventurous than a gentle stroll or discovering a new book then we have some real adventures locally for you to try. From Rally driving, clay pigeon shooting, wild swimming, bodyboarding, Paragliding the area really does live up to the title of Outdoor Capital of Wales.
For those with quieter pursuits the area is fantastic for birdwatching with the Red kite feeding centre just 3 miles away, fishing on the river Wye, various degrees of ease and difficulty with walks in the Wye and Elan valleys. If your more for 2 wheels there is cycling with sustrans routes 8 / 81, Rhayder bump track and Mountain biking tracks in the Elan Valley to keep you busy during our stay.
The river Wye sits just behind the Lodge and offers a lovely evening stroll along the river banks and through the pine trees.
