If you are unable to complete within these timescales, we would request you contact us through our "Enquiries" page as soon as possible to ensure we do not release your reservation.

Thank you for making a reservation with Churchtown Cottages.

Booking Terms and Conditions


  • 25% deposit is payable within 7 days of reservation to secure your booking and the remaining balance becomes due four weeks prior to your stay.
  • Should you cancel your reservation within 12 weeks of the arranged arrival day, you will be liable for the full outstanding balance should we be unable to re-let the accommodation.
  • Both Raddons and Wharrastone exercise a strict No Smoking policy.
  • Saturday Changeover - the duration of your stay is from 4.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure. These times must be strictly adhered to (except by separate arrangement), this ensures that the changeover staff have sufficient time to clean and prepare the accommodation for our next guests.
  • The accommodation is only offered for family holidays and not for youth groups or student parties. Only those persons named on the final Booking Form are permitted to sleep at the accommodation.
  • We would ask that occupants respect our neighbours by keeping noise levels at an acceptable level and parking considerately (there is one allocated parking space in the adjacent car parking with ample alternative parking close by).
  • Damages - Any breakages or damages should be reported to our Property Administrator at the earliest opportunity to enable us to replace or repair the item prior to the arrival of our next guests. We reserve the right to charge for any damages caused to the property or any exceptional cleaning costs (stain removal etc.) required after your stay.
  • Utilities - Electrical and Gas supplies and any other failures must be reported to our Property Administrator. You must not attempt to effect repairs yourselves, but advise our Property Administrator of the fault immediately so it can be rectified.
  • Pets are welcome by prior arrangement, subject to their owner accepting liability for any damage they may cause and on the condition that they will not be left unattended in the property. They must be kept under strict control within the curtilage of the property and restricted to the permitted areas only. Pets are not allowed to climb on the furniture or beds and owners are expected to bring suitable bedding and towels for their animals. Any mess should be cleared from the garden before departure. 
  • The property should be left in a clean and tidy condition, with all windows and doors secured at the end of your stay. 
  • AM & J Sugden shall not be liable to you or any other member of your party for loss or damage to persons or property, however caused.
